I go by '''Kateshortforbob''' all over the [[Internet]]; I answer to Kate, although it isn't my real-life name. I've been a member of Wikipedia since [[Autumn]] 2006, but I must have gotten distracted by something shiny, because I didn't begin editing for real until July 2007. I've now racked up 8000ish edits and I'm on Wikipedia most days. My main project is [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Categories/uncategorized|categorising]] articles which have no categories at present, which is cool because I get to read lots of new articles, identify articles I want to work on and tag articles for attention or deletion if necessary. I also try to take some photos for articles which have none. On [[Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Kateshortforbob|17 July 2009]], I became an [[WP:ADMIN|administrator]] on the English Wikipedia.
