[edit]Jared Payton (born April 19, 1990) is better known by his stage name CL Cornell is an American rapper out of Los Angeles, California. Payton was signed to an independant label called Greezy Wood Prod. but later left due to poor managment. He released an album call Therapy Session June 2008. Payton earned $15,000 from selling the album after performing at house parties and other social events.

CL Cornell was born Jared Payton in South Central, California but then later moved to Palmdale, California. At the age of 4 Payton was influenced by westcoast rapper 2pac. Between the ages 4 and 10, Payton would just "freestlye" in his head. The when he entered middle school he would write down his raps and then rehearses them to himself. Then when Payton got into high school he then started to record mixtapes tracks with his little brother and give a copy to his friends around school.
