Dannymol is a resident of planet earth who finds it slightly awkward writing about himself in the third person, but as this will be the only autobiographical page he will edit here, and it will only be for this section, he'll just have to get on with it.
At the time of writing, September 2011, I am a new and inexperienced Wikipedian. I became interested when I saw a few of my photographs in use on articles regarding footballers and a match official, namely Lee Probert, Kevin Davies, Zat Knight, Stewart Downing, and Luis Suarez. The effect this had on me was quite considerable. At last, a photograph I had taken was being used for something. I felt I was helping the world in some way. Well, I want more. Filled with fresh enthusiasm I found a article on Wikipedia that needed an image. Prestbury railway station looked a likely candidate. I grabbed my camera, took off for the station, snapped away and edited the page. After a few mistakes a friendly and more experienced editor helped me out, and now the people of the world have an improved article to look at.
Whilst creating articles and being bold with a myriad of edits would be nice, I'm going to have to understand Wikitext and some of the accepted guidelines and standards first, getting to grips with the seemingly endless list of templates first. Back to school I go.
