The 2024 Oklahoma Sooners football team will represent the University of Oklahoma during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season, the 130th season for the Oklahoma Sooners. They will be led by third-year head coach Brent Venables. They will play their home games at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. This will be their first year as members of the Southeastern Conference.

[edit]The Southeastern Conference announced the 2024 conference schedule on June 14, 2023. With the addition of Oklahoma and Texas as its 15th and 16th members the SEC will do away with its divisions and adopt an 8 game conference schedule for the 2024 season while determining the long term future of conference schedule format. The 2024 schedule consists of 3 home games, 4 away games and 1 neutral-site game in the regular season. The Sooners will host 4 non-conference games against Temple, Houston, Tulane and Maine. In Conference play Oklahoma will host Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and travel to Auburn, LSU, Missouri, and Ole Miss. Oklahoma will play Texas in Dallas, Texas at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in the Red River Showdown, the 120th game played in the series.[1]
