This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by Great Point Oy for their contributions to Wikipedia.
Disclosure, in compliance with Wikipedia's best practices and policies regarding conflict of interest:
I, Jos Schuurmans, have, in Wikipedia terms, an ‘actual COI’, ie. a Conflict of Interest regarding the topics of:
- MaaS Global Ltd., the ‘Mobility as a Service’ company based in Helsinki, Finland;
- Whim, the transportation route planner application and ticketing service by MaaS Global Ltd;
- Sampo Hietanen, CEO of MaaS Global Ltd.
In the past, I have carried out paid proofreading and editing assignments by Great Point Oy, the content agency based in Helsinki, including content intended for publication by MaaS Global Ltd., a client of Great Point Oy.
In early 2019 I was asked as a professional proofreader and editor to assist Great Point Oy, for pay, in submitting entries on the aforementioned topics to Wikipedia for consideration.
In compliance with Wikipedia’s best practices and policies, given my ‘actual COI’, I am submitting articles on these topics through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process rather than creating them directly.
I do not have a direct financial relationship with MaaS Global Ltd. I do not advertize or solicit paid advocacy or paid editing of Wikipedia content.
By using my real name in submitting to Wikipedia, I vouch for the notability, accuracy, and neutrality of the information that I submit with my personal and professional reputation.
In my opinion, MaaS Global Ltd., Whim and Sampo Hietanen are notable topics because of their role and impact as change agents in the current transformation of the worldwide, multi-billion dollar transportation industry.
As a recent data point on notability, on February 21, 2019, MaaS Global Ltd. was one of three winners of the Future Unicorn Award 2019 by Digital Europe, a trade association representing digitally transforming European industries.
I welcome the feedback and scrutiny of Wikipedia editors and contributors in developing this content guided by notability, accuracy, and neutrality.
