Jérôme Joseph Nicole Lucien Ruggiero( born 13 September 1977) is an Italian fashion designer, particularly noted for his menswear. Has founded in the 1999 Fashion house the Jerome Dess, together with his heldest brother Pietro (died in Campora San Giovanni on April 13th 2004, in a car accident).

Biography[edit]

Born in Liege in Belgium by Italian immigrants in Campora San Giovanni (of the municipality of Amantea ); his father Bonaventura , who emigrated and used first as a mason, has built a small building company in Wandre.

Jérôme left school without graduating in Architecture in 1996.

In 1999 he occupies with his older brother Pietro (who died in Campora San Giovanni April 13, 2004, in a car accident), his male line company that sells high-end prêt-à-Porter.

In 2006 began his association with Riccardo Andreatini (formerly of Tombolini), thus initiating the collaboration with the Tombolini .

During the 2007 - 2008 is the agent for sales and marketing fashion Thierry Mugler Homme, T-Concep Tombolini, Hilton, Emanuel Ungaro Homme, Gai Mattiolo, JCDC by Lee Cooper .

On 16 February 2009 presents his personal mark registered in the world "JEROME RUGGIERO", his debut as a fashion designer has taken place in Florence at the Pitti 76, where he presented his first collection.

At Pitti 76 was among the top 14 emerging designers: New Beat Area [1]

In 2010 he presented his collection in the living room Tranoï of Paris, between the various emerging Exhibitors with leaders of an absolute originality.[2]


In May 2011, among those present at the Cannes Film Festival, falls within the circle of the largest luxury home that has its own showroom at Hotel Martinez , throughout the duration of the Cannes Film Festival. its presence was noted soprrattuto by his youth and the superiority of its product so unique, that it affects the quality of the product and the high price.[3]
