Greetings!

I am an American expat living in Taiwan. I've been here for a little over a year now. I am a patent engineer for one of the intellectual property law firms in Taipei, and am studying to take the patent bar exam for the USPTO in late 2005.

Although I have been editing Wikipedia articles for the last eighteen months, I only recently created a user profile. I created the initial article on lampworking, a form of glass art which is one of my hobbies, and added the "killer rabbit" incident to Jimmy Carter's page -- yes, he really was charged, er, attacked, er, hissed at by an irate amphibious lagomorph, and there's an official White House photo (available from the kind folks at the Jimmy Carter presidential Library) to prove it!

I joined the user community a few months ago when User:Sjakkalle questioned an edit I made to the article on Vladivostok regarding Far Eastern National University of Russia.
