After a 14 year run of numerous creations and helpful edits, it's time for me to say goodbye to Wikipedia. It's just not what it used to be. I have always prided myself on offering the most comprehensive articles, with as much truthful and referenced info possible, but it seems the mods are no longer interested in truth. They seem to either want short, streamlined articles, or to only allow the contributors with the most edits to dictate what belongs in them. I would love to come back in the future, but in order for that to happen, the corporate nonsense must stop. It's almost sad to me that I can't take with me all the articles and info I have provided since 2001 under my various user names. So they could see what I've done for them.
What would be nice, is if these same moderators would make sure ALL articles adhere to the same guidelines that they seem to think my music page contributions need to do. Such as religious pages, namely the LDS Church and Catholic Church main pages. It seems it's okay for loads of misinformation and straight up falsehoods to remain on those pages, but if I say I have proof that a certain singer is also known for playing a musical instrument, that's not worth allowing on their page.
It's been fun, but not worth the political policing.
