Pretty Baby is an electro-alternative rock band from Fort Worth Texas, comprised of Puerto Rico singer Zayra Alvarez and longtime friends Dave Jarmes and Daniel Harville. While each band member contributed different elements of the music, a majority of it was created digitally.[1]
Zayra Alvarez began her singing career long before joining Pretty Baby. She released her debut solo album Ruleta on Sony International in 2004 and developed a fan base in Puerto Rico. She also placed in the top seven on the series Rockstar: Supernova.
Before starting this project, Dave Karnes played jazz alongside Zac Maloy, Colin Herring, and John Price throughout North Texas. Daniel Harville is best known for having been a part of the late-’90s alt-rock touring band Sugarbomb[2].
Pretty Baby began working on their debut EP in early 2007.[1]
