Hi! I first got involved with Wikipedia in 2004, mainly to see how it worked. It turned out to be great fun. I was successfully nominated for admin status in 2007, and did a part-time contract for the Mediawiki foundation in 2009-2010. I remain a big fan, but I unfortunately don't have much time to work on Wikipedia these days.
