Concerning your question: There' only a slight difference between the 2:

touch rugby is derived from the rules of the rugby-union, whereas touch football is derived from the rules of the rugby league (don't ask m about the differences there :) ) Lectonar 07:33, 22 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

ta question

[edit]

your welcoming works

[edit]

Touch Rugby

[edit]

Thanks for your input on the touch rugby voting and especialy your translation of the french rules. I hope you dont mind I fixed up some of the English, which I hope didnt much up the article too much. I think it is important that the french and english versions be as close as possible to each other as possible. I hope we can work to make the future touch rugby article much better then it has been and also that it can be consistent accross languages. POds 16:35, 9 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello i play touch rugby, i made the big part of the frenchy article(you can see in history :p) i like this sport. No problème for the mistakes i do in english i'm not biligual in english .I put some French club we have got more do i need to put them or did i do an article excially for touch rugby club in the world? by country(France etc...)?(I think we can start by the first) i try with the german or with nederlands wiki to make an article for the touch rugby Goldensun 07:15, 10 September 2005 (UTC)
We can just talk here, its easier to do so on one page. In reply, i think its best we get the touch rugby sorted out first. I know a lot of people are going to push for the FIT stuff to be taken out. I dont want to see that happen. If you know of any other europeans that play touch rugby on wikipedia, get them here to help us out so we can get the page moved and in the future prevent the page from splitting again, which i think is good to lessen any confusion. I'm not sure what you ment about the german page. Did you want to write an article about touch rugby in germany? I think it would be great to start getting some touch rugby pages specific to certain countries. What a great idea :). But first, touch rugby needs to be sorted out. If you know anyone who'd be interested in voting for our cause, get direct them to the talk page POds 16:04, 10 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

the new touch rugby article

[edit]
i see you restored the touch rugby article what can i cut from the touch football article to put on the touch rugby:
* the rules?
* explanation of the sport?

Please have a look at Talk:Touch football (rugby league) "One page good. Two pages better" and "Google" where POds Grant65 and I have been discussing this. I think we have come to an agreement that the Touch football (rugby league) should be an article which concentrates on FIT while the Touch Rugby page shoud be kept as "a kind of extended disambiguation page".

So if you wish to explain the rules and the sport please make sure that they are general terms for all the forms of Touch Rugby and not a specific form. This is particularly true of FITs as it has its own page. Please see Talk:Touch_rugby. Philip Baird Shearer 12:31, 12 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Help?

[edit]

;) Lectonar 12:35, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

email to the FIT

[edit]

Hello i'm a french player, in my country our sport is calling touch rugby. I work on wikipedia did you know that encyclopedia. We have a problem to name our sport and of course to name the article: Touch rugby, touch football (rugby league).

The principal argument of the touch football (rugby league) is the sport created in australia and in australia you call that sport touch football

You can see the discution on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Touch_rugby for touch rugby http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Touch_football_%28rugby_league%29 for touch football (rugby league)

Can you help us please(sorry for my english) Quentin Goldensun 18:28, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Bonne chance. Lectonar 06:05, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

that means thank you in japanese.

thank you for the welcome.

i understand that your native language is french. french is written in a script that is the same as that used in english, with a few minor accents. japanese, however, is made up of charicters that are non-Roman. do you know how i can insert them while i am using the english wikipedia?--Akako 22:42, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

as to your question: I haven't the faintest idea...je n'ai aucune idèe. Sorry. Lectonar 07:07, 27 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Carlos (singer)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Carlos (singer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
