Hello. I appreciate your good efforts at this article, but we really should not be editing the lead before article text is clear and we have that text upon which to base a lead summary. You may wish to consider removing all the content about the NY Post report until we sort out the article text, especially in light of the Washington Post coverage and the counterintelligence investigations. - Thanks. Let's discuss on the article talk page. – Anne drew 02:20, 17 October 2020 (UTC)
Curious
I'm wondering what Manual of style guidelines are behind this edit. There is so much stuff at MOS that I can always learn more and make such changes elsewhere. -- Valjean (talk) 15:50, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Valjean. There's no relevant MOS guideline, I was just removing empty lines that were introduced by a change I made to
{{Tweet}}
. Another user has since fixed that template so I think edits like the one you just linked are now unnecessary. Feel free to revert. – Anne drew 15:55, 20 October 2020 (UTC)- Ah! Tweaking that template looks above my paygrade. Was that tweet box previously indented like other quotes? I think it should be, but I could be wrong. -- Valjean (talk) 16:08, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
- It was indented before I updated it to use
{{Quote box}}
internally which has no indent. I can add back the indentation to match{{Quote}}
if you'd like. – Anne drew 16:13, 20 October 2020 (UTC)- I think that would look better. -- Valjean (talk) 06:46, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
