Your edits to carbon credits

[edit]

Hi GreenSarah, and welcome to Wikipedia (it's a bit late, but I saw that nobody else had gotten around to welcoming you). Thanks for fighting vandalism at carbon credits. Only thing is that, with your most recent fix, you only reverted the most recent vandalism edit, when the user had made three consecutive vandalism edits. By reverting only the most recent one, you made it more likely that the other two would stay in the article. To help prevent this sort of thing in the future, I've equipped your account with the rollback feature, which reverts all of the most recent edits by a single user. This tool should only be used for reverting clear vandalism, however - not good faith edits that you think damage an article. If you have any questions about the use of this tool or any other aspect of Wikipedia, please don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers, Sarcasticidealist (talk) 02:39, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There's a separate button that will appear next to the most recent edit on any page - "rollback". Sarcasticidealist (talk) 14:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are pretty much out of luck, I'm afraid. The one thing you might be able to do is usurp the old username following the instructions here. I personally have no experience with this process, and have no idea whether or not the bureaucrats would grant your request on that basis - my suspicion, unfortunately, is that they wouldn't allow this, and I'm pretty sure even if they did your former edits would cease to be credited to you. Otherwise, you'll just have to start over with a new account. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 02:27, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Having looked at your recent edits, might I suggest that you concentrate on improving articles such as Gaviotas? I reckon you'll benefit from reading the Weissman book. Cheers, Ottre 16:26, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
