Return of a problem[edit]

Hello Kirachinmoku. I noticed that you've placed some warnings on IP (talk · contribs) page. I just thought I would let you know that this is the return of our Burton-on-Trent vandal. Here are the previous SPIs Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ I thought I thought I would leave these links in case they might be of use. Thanks for your vigilance in taking care of Wikipedia's articles. Cheers. MarnetteD | Talk 18:04, 13 October 2013 (UTC)

@MarnetteD: - Hiya, thanks for bringing that to my attention, is that IP being investigated as yet? KiraChinmoku 08:13, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
I don't think so. My onWiki time is limited at the moment so I don't always have a chance to check on things. This editor seems to edit in bursts and then disappear so not every IP gets reported to SPI. That is one reason that I started the page to track the IPs. Please feel free to add to it should you come upon this editor again. Regards. MarnetteD | Talk 17:56, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
@MarnetteD: - I've flagged this up in SPI now. See here [1] - Regards KiraChinmoku 19:42, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
For a bit older history (and more IPs), see this thread I made at User:Rodhullandemu/Archive/34#The_90.199.99..2A_IP 3 years ago. The person/IPs has actually been at it for 5 years now. I dealt with the user myself from 2008 to 2011. Nymf (talk) 19:56, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the link Nymf. Please see the post by Bishonen here Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive815#Disruptive IP who was blocked two days ago is back. Looks like we can report any new IPs directly to that admin. Regards to you both. MarnetteD | Talk 21:04, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
@MarnetteD:/@Nymf: - Thanks both for the links. Good stuff, we may actually get this blighter killed off! KiraChinmoku 12:44, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Stortford Music Festival[edit]

Hello Kirachinmoku. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Stortford Music Festival".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Stortford Music Festival}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 13:15, 22 November 2014 (UTC)

  • Regrettably I forgot I even started that article, and I don't have to to finish it off. It can be deleted! KiraChinmoku 13:30, 22 November 2014 (UTC)

Matt Taylor[edit]

I think you must have made a mistake. My edit included a reliable source. I mentioned the existence of a crowd-funded petition, and backed up that claim by providing the primary source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 12:25, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

  • The paragraph you added did not have any citations. I believe someone else has messaged you regarding this matter. RobertEves92 15:20, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

No, sorry, you have made a mistake. The paragraph I added had a citation. And yes, I am currently slogging away at this on the talk page for the article concerned. (talk) 00:23, 30 November 2014 (UTC)

ITB Alumni[edit]

I simply have no idea someone half the globe away from a country can know better that my edit is right or wrong. You twice reverted my edit at this page, while what I did was to update the fact that Alwin Syah Loebis is NO longer President Director of Aneka Tambang. Current President Director is Tato Miraza. source: — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 12:38, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

  • This was reverted due to a lack of citations for the change. RobertEves92 15:18, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

The tag to use is G11 - advertising or promotion. You can also use A7 non-notable person in most cases. On a user page, U5 or G11 - but that is for a proper CV not just telling us a bit about who they are. Peridon (talk) 15:50, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

  • Aha cool, thanks for the tip! RobertEves92 16:57, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

Mr Blue Sky[edit]

Mr Blue Skye[edit]

Now, why on Earth did you remove the information I added about the baroque part in the song? -- (talk) 20:12, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

  • Uncited changes. No references or citations to back up the edits you have made. RobertEves92 20:26, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
Well then - with that point of view I'll remove every part from the article that isn't backed up by refernces or citations. I'll start with the cover verison section shortly.-- (talk) 00:29, 30 November 2014 (UTC)

Rainbow trout transparent.png Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something silly.

You have been trouted for: You trout me sir I trout you sir.
