If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Rental Housing Association, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. Raven1977Talk to meMy edits 21:58, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your username[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: It appears to refer to the group Rental Housing Association, and therefore that you represent that group, which is not allowed per username policy. Please see Wikipedia:U#Company.2Fgroup_names for further information about that. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

USERNAME[edit]

Request for a change of username has been submitted. But it can not go through saying: "SoxBot VI has analyzed this request, and a problem(s) was found. Target username exists, and it has edits, deleted edits, and/or log edits."

Hi there. I was about to give you a link to the list of currently taken usernames. But I see you found one that isn't in use already, and have changed your name. I appreciate your taking quick action in response to my request. I will be posting a better welcome with some links that will help you in your further editing. Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy being on Wikipedia. Raven1977Talk to meMy edits 22:43, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound[edit]

The article Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:ORGDEPTH

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
