[edit]
This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Saddaam Insane, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:41, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually, I tried to use WP:TWINKLE to post this to the talk page of your alt account, I thought it would bypass the redirect but it did not. This name is fine, that one is not as it clearly attacks a certain person. That person is dead and generally not well regarded, but that does not make it ok, attack names of any kind are prohibited. It is a userneme-only block and you are free to select a non-infringing name for another alt account. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:44, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please assume good faith in your dealings with other editors, which you did not on Ys (series). Assume that they are here to improve rather than harm Wikipedia. you reverted encyclopedic, good faith edits, without consensus Aunva6 (talk) 03:17, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi GHBishop,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
