Valentine Rausch

Valentine "Val" Rausch is a former Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 4 from 2005-2012.[1] In 2012 Rausch was chosen by his peers to become the Speaker of the House. Previously Rausch served as mayor of Big Stone City, South Dakota from 1993–1999.[2]

Rausch is a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), serving as South Dakota state leader.[3]
