Vasanthavada (Telugu:వసంతవాడ) is a village in the Atreyapuram Mandal in the East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh State in the Republic of India.

Natural features

The town is located on the banks of the branch of the Godavari River called Vasista.

Communications

The National Highway 5, Chennai-Kolkata, passes through Ravulapalem only 10 kilometers away. Rajahmundry is the nearest city with train and airport facilities.

Politics

Vasanthavada is part of the Kothapeta electoral constituency.

Economics

People of this village made their living primarily through agriculture, particularly sugarcane, banana, and rice.

History

Vasanthavada is the combination of 2 words - Vasantha (Spring season) and Vada (Area or place).

Climate
