The velvet flycatcher or dull flycatcher (Myiagra hebetior) is a species of bird in the Monarchidae family. It is endemic to Papua New Guinea and found in the Bismarck Archipelago.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
