Vivek Rajkumar is a serial angel investor.[1]


Early life

Rajkumar was born in India and grew up in Singapore and Seattle. He graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington in 2005, after which he worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer.[2]

Career

Rajkumar has interests in social media, gaming, hard technology, and sports betting and invests heavily in these verticals. His angel investment firm, Fikir Ventures, invests in teams that are "obsessively motivated about what they're working on and mission driven." [3] His public investments include Metric Gaming,[4] Compose Labs,[5] and MSI.[6] The firm partners with entrepreneurs at the earliest stage, often when they are just at the idea stage.[3]

Rajkumar has been a big proponent of decentralized computing platforms and blockchains, investing in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, IOTA, and Monero, amongst others. He's also currently working on several stealth projects in the space.[7]
