Welcome to the WikiProject page for the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis University Library. Scope[edit]The purpose of this initiative is to improve the coverage in Wikidata of underrepresented subjects and communities in the State of Indiana with a focus on supporting the Scholarly Profiles as Service model. This service, developed at IUPUI University Library, aims to provide a presence in Wikidata for all IUPUI-affiliated faculty and the scholarship they produce. Scholia–a web-based service that feeds from Wikidata–is used to generate the faculty profiles. More info can be found on the IUPUI University Library Commitment to Open Knowledge page. Initial efforts on this initiative included generating Wikipedia articles from Encoded Archival Description (EAD) finding aids using the Remixing Archival Metadata Project (RAMP) tool.
