The Wallace's fairywren (Sipodotus wallacii) is a species of bird in the Maluridae family. It is monotypic within the genus Sipodotus.[2] It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, where its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.[2]

It is named after Alfred Russel Wallace, a British naturalist, explorer, geographer, and biologist.[3]
