The Wangshi Series is a late Cretaceous sedimentary rock formation found in Shandong and Jiangsu provinces in eastern China. It has been estimated as Campanian in age.

Flora and Fauna of the Wangshi Series

Dinosaurs recovered include the large theropods Chingkankousaurus and Zhuchengtyrannus, ornithomimids, the caenagnathid Anomalipes, the titanosaur Zhuchengtitan, and the hadrosauromorphs Laiyangosaurus, Tanius, Shantungosaurus, and Tsintaosaurus. The turtle Shandongemys has also been discovered in this unit.[1]
