Wayta Kuntur Sinqa (Quechua wayta crest; wild flower; the whistling of the wind, kuntur condor, sinqa nose,[2] hispanicized spelling Yuaytacondorsenja) is a 5,345 m (17,536 ft) high mountain in the Chila mountain range in the Andes of Peru . It is located in the Arequipa Region, Castilla Province, Chachas District. Wayta Kuntur Sinqa lies northwest of Chila and Chila Pilluni. It is situated at the end of a valley named P'unqu Wayq'u ( (p'unqu pond, dam, wayq'u valley or stream,[2] also spelled Puncuhuaico). Its stream flows to Chachas Lake.[1][3]
