The West Seattle Herald is now part of a weekly newspaper called The Westside Weekly serving the areas of Ballard, West Seattle, White Center, Burien, Des Moines, and SeaTac. It is also a website serving the West Seattle neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The newspaper was founded in 1923.

On August 21, 2013, it was announced that the paper, along with the Ballard News-Tribune, White Center News, and Highline Times, would be combined into The Westside Weekly as of September 6.[1]
