Wierzenica [vjɛʐɛˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Swarzędz, within Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Swarzędz and 13 km (8 mi) north-east of the regional capital Poznań.

The village has a population of 261. It has a church which lies on the Wooden Churches Trail around Puszcza Zielonka.
