  • Support I may be a little biased because I love the quality of old style photos, but this meets the requirements of a FA in my eyes. Size is big, very little flaws, especially for a photo that old (very few water stains and dust). The DoF could be better, but technology was limited back then, and I believe that is part of the aesthetically appeal of the image.     • Generally, since this is a work of art, and a historic image, it probably isn't the best thing to alter the image to remove the signature. It would lessen the accuracy and encyclopedic value by doing so (and in the past, commentors here at FPC have opposed such actions, as I learned first hand when I photoshopped out a copyright signature from a print, IIRC, of Abe Lincoln.)-Andrew c [talk] 22:45, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
