The drive aims to make article Land a good article. You can help by copyedit, add images, add references, make use of automated tools, etc. We need to be efficient with the use of our time while still establishing excellent quality control. Originally, coffee also belonged to the Vital GA drive, but it was dropped due to inactivity.
In addition to the GA nomination's and behavior guidelines and policies, we have two self-restrictions to preserve our integrity:
- These articles must achieve quality that is above and beyond GA standard. This will ensure that the article will not decay to below the standard for some time.
- No one in this drive should review our articles. Preferably, ask uninvolved veteran editors to do so (and review their nominations too!).
Otherwise, be bold when edit these articles. We need all the humanpower to accomplish, quite frankly, an insane goal.
Timeline
[edit]This is a rough timeline on when the milestones should be reached. Even though the timeline is ambitious, don't rush just for the sake of it: the deadline can be flexible if necessary. The timeline must be ambitious however, because our goal is to make all Vital articles GAs and we could not do so if it takes 6 months to promote one article. The parenthesis "(X)" denotes headers in the good article criteria.
Rough layout complete, all tagged issues resolved on the article. (1b, 2a)- Image placement, trimming of cruft, copyvio is nearing completion, research should be well on its way. (2d, 3a, 3b, 6a, 6b)
The article should have exceeded B-Class. This is used as a rough guideline.- Most general content has been added, all claims should now be cited to reliable sources. (2b, 2c)
- Almost all content should have been added, consult other editors for neutrality concerns. Copyediting is now in progress. (4)
- Copyediting is finished, articles run through last checks before nominating. (1a, 5)
