Wilhelm Hasse was a German-born Mexican brewer and founder of Dos Equis.

In 1884 Wilhelm Hasse emigrated from his homeland and established the Moctezuma brewery in Veracruz, Mexico. In 1897, Hasse blended his brewing heritage with the spirit of Mexican tradition to create Dos Equis.
