Saira Wasim

Saira Wasim is a noted contemporary artist from South Asia. She uses the miniature style of painting, which was created by the Persians but extensively used in South Asia, to make primarily political and cultural statements. Wasim's art has been showcased in a number of premiere museums including the Whitney Art Museum, Brooklyn Art Museum, Asian art museum etc.

Biography

Saira was born in Pakistan though she has lived in the US for past many years.
