William D. Brisson is a Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly, representing the state's 22nd House district since 2006.[1] On October 25, 2017 Brisson announced his intention to switch from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party.[2]
During the 2016 legislative session, Brisson was one of 11 Democrats to vote in favor of HB2, the controversial "Bathroom Bill." [3]
