William Bryk (born March 12, 1955) is a lawyer and perennial candidate[1] from Antrim, New Hampshire. Before Bryk left his former long-time residence in Brooklyn, New York, he took advantage of laws that requires only that candidates for U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative live in the state in which they are campaigning by the day of the general election. This allowed Bryk to run in the primaries without even visiting.[2] Bryk generally ran in races that lacked a credible Democratic candidate.[3] Bryk also worked as a contributor for the New York Sun[4] and New York Press.

In March 2016, Bryk moved to Antrim, New Hampshire. He won the Democratic primary for Hillsborough County Register of Probate in September 2016 without opposition. He lost the November 2016 general election to Republican candidate B.J. Perry, who polled 102,032 votes to Bryk's 83,527.[5]

Education

Bachelor's of science in economics from Manhattan College, 1977; Law degree from Fordham University in 1989.[6]
