William George Searle was a 19th-century historian and fellow of Queens' College, Cambridge,[1] on which he published a history.[2]

His works include Ingulf and the Historia Croylandensis, Onomasticon Anglo-Saxonicum: A List of Anglo-Saxon Proper and Anglo-Saxon Bishops, Kings and Nobles.
