William J. Brodsky is the current Executive Chairman, and former Chairman & CEO, of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and Chairman of the World Federation of Exchanges. He formally held the positions of President and CEO of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (1985–1997) and was the Executive Vice President at the American Stock Exchange (1979–1982).[1]

He is a member of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation[2] and previously served as Chairman of the International Options Markets Association (2006–2008).
