William Stanley (composer)

William Stanley (1820-1902) was an Australian classical music composer,[1] born in England. Stanley was a soldier when he arrived arrived in Australia, but was discharged in 1840.[2] His Rose Bay Quadrilles were arranged for guitar duet by Peter Sculthorpe[3]
