Winnie helps parents find information about kid-friendly places to go with their families.[1] It contains metadata about places like whether there is a changing table in the restroom, a kids menu, or a good place to nurse a baby and also reviews from parents who have been to those places.[2] It is backed by a blend of automated data collection, curation, and crowdsourcing.[3]

Background

Winnie is a startup focused on making parents' lives easier through technology. Winnie is based in San Francisco and was founded in early 2016 by Sara Mauskopf and Anne Halsall. The Winnie iPhone app was launched in June 2016. In October 2016, Winnie announced that it raised $2.5 million in seed funding.
