Music critic Roch Parisien, writing for Allmusic, wrote the album "[Ross] offers tasteful, often inventive arrangements of English, German, and French traditionals. Some harp, keyboard, trumpet and delicate percussion embellishments apply, but in general the sparser the better here."[1]
