State Trunk Highway 34 (often called Highway 34, STH 34 or WIS 34) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It runs north–south as a shortcut route in central Wisconsin connecting Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. The highway ends at Interstate 39 in Knowlton on the north end, and at Highway 13 in Wisconsin Rapids on the south end.
Plans
WisDOT is proposing to realign Highway 13 along the southern half of Highway 34 to U.S. Highway 10 where it turns westward towards Marshfield, truncating WIS-34 back to U.S. 10 in Junction City, Wisconsin. These changes are proposed to occur in 2013.[2]
