The World Apostolic Congress on Mercy (WACOM) is a worldwide religious event organized every three years.[citation needed]

WACOM is promoted by the Board of Trustees: 17 cardinals under the direction of Christoph Schönborn.[citation needed] The first WACOM occurred in Rome in 2008; the second was in Kraków in 2011. The third was in Bogotá and lasted from 15 to 19 August 2014.[1]
