XHYRE-FM is a radio station in Mérida, Yucatán. Broadcasting on 107.9 MHz, XHYRE is owned by the Secretaría de Educación Pública and is the first ever repeater of Radio Educación outside of Mexico City.[2]

Testing began for XHYRE on December 10, 2015.[3]
