Xuai Shuxuan was a major general in the Kuomintang before defecting to the Wang Jingwei regime, becoming the chief of general staff of the Chinese Collaborationist Army. He was killed in 1945 while resisting arrest, after the Second Sino-Japanese War with a defeat of Japan.[1][failed verification]
