Xinjiang is a town under the jurisdiction of Wengyuan County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, southern China.[1]

The town is responsible for the administration of one neighbourhood committee and 19 village committees including Shangba, which in 2007 acquired the nickname of "China's Village of Death".[2]
