Yny lhyvyr hwnn was the first book to be printed in the Welsh language. It was written by John Price of Brecon, printed in London by Edward Whitchurch, and published in 1546.[1]

The National Library of Wales hold the only known copy of Yny lhyvyr hwnn. It was part of the foundation collection that Sir John Williams donated to the Library in 1908.[2]
