You Must Be Kidding is a crime thriller novel of 1979 by English author James Hadley Chase.[1]

Synopsis

Insurance executive Ken Brandon breaks his marital vows when he falls for his secretary, and soon discovers that he has landed in the soup when he comes across a murder. Investigating officer Tom Lepski, who has just been promoted, is pushed into the case, and is sure that Brandon has committed the crime. But then things get murkier, because more murders take place.[2]
