Yuri Mikhailovich Kobishchanov (Russian - Юрий Михайлович Кобищанов; born 1934) is a Soviet and Russian Africanist, historian, sociologist and ethnologist. He graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Moscow State University in 1958.
