Zuliana de Aviación is a defunct Venezuelan airline. It initially began as a cargo airline in 1985 based in Maracaibo.,[1] but later began service as a passenger carrier. Its name is derived from the Venezuelan state of Zulia. At various times, its fleet included 727s, DC-8s; but it last operated a fleet of 5 DC-9-30 series aircraft. The airline ceased operations in 1997, and its entire fleet was permanently retired in 2002.
