Zyad Barakat Chaabo (also spelt Ziad Shaabo, born 1 January 1979 in Latakia, Syria) is a Syrian football player who is currently playing for Misfat Baniyas in the Syrian Premier League. He usually plays in the Striker position.

Club career

Zyad Chaabo started his career at Hutteen club in Syria, and after seven seasons moved to Syrian Premier League giants Al-Jaish.
He went on loan to Persepolis F.C. on 31 January 2007, on a contract which lasted until the end of the Persian Gulf Cup 2006-07 season.
In the Syrian League Season (2007–2008) He went on loan to Al-Karamah.
In the Syrian League Season (2008–2009) who is currently playing for Al-Taliya.
