Behrouz Sebt Rasoul (Persian: بهروز سبط رسول; born 7 July 1970) is an independent Iranian filmmaker, screenwriter, editor, photographer, musician, and author of two novels.

Born in Tehran in 1970, though he graduated from the Kharazmi University in industrial engineering, his passion has always been the cinema. In 2013 he founded the company Nama Film. He has made many documentaries, one wildlife documentary and 28 documentary episodes about nature, all internationally acclaimed by both professionals and the public.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

Melody (Persian: ملودی; Tajik: Мелодия, romanized: Melodiya) is a 2023 Tajik-Iranian mystery drama film written, directed, produced and edited by Behrouz Sebt Rasoul.[12]

It's about the music teacher Melody who wants to compose a heartfelt piece for children fighting cancer, using the sound of 30 birds.[6] The film was selected as the Tajik entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards,[13] though it did not appear on the final list.[14] The movie Melody selected at the 54th International Film Festival of India and will have its first international screening in the Cinema of the World section.[15][16]

The movie Melody was selected in the 24th Keswick Film Festival united kingdom february 29-march 3, 2024 competition section.[20][21][22] The movie Melody was selected in the 42th Fajr International Film Festival 2024 Iran country.[23] The Melody movie participated in the competitive section in the 23th ImagineIndia Int’l Film Festival, Madrid – Spain and won in three sections and was nominated in two sections.[24][25][26][27]
