Johann Georg van Caspel (1870-1928) was a Dutch painter of portraits and murals.[1] He studied at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten (State Academy of Fine Arts) in Amsterdam before going on to work at the studio of Maurits van der Valk , and the Amand Printing Company, and eventually working in architecture and designing mansions in the area of Gooi.[2]
