Philosopher and award-winning author, Christian de Quincey, Ph.D.,http://www.deepspirit.com is an international speaker on consciousness, spirituality and science at conferences and workshops in the United States and Europe. His best-known work is the "Radical Consciousness" trilogy, Radical Nature: Rediscovering the Soul of Matter, Radical Knowing: Exploring Consciousness through Relationship, and Radical Science: Exploring Consciousness the Final Frontier.

Dr. de Quincey is a professor of Consciousness Studies at John F. Kennedy University, adjunct faculty at the Union University and Institute, and the Arthur M. Young Professor of Philosophy at the University of Philosophical Research. He is the founder of The Visionary Edge http://www.TheVisionaryEdge.biz, a media production company and network of media professionals committed to the mission of transforming global consciousness by transforming mass media. Until recently, Dr. de Quincey was Managing Editor on Shift magazine (formerly IONS Review), from the Institute of Noetic Sciences.

Besides the award-winning Radical Nature, his books include the bestselling ebook Deep Spirit: In Search of the Noetic Code, and, with Willis Harman, The Scientific Exploration of Consciousness. His next book, Radical Knowing, second in the "Radical Consciousness" trilogy, will be published in Fall, 2005. Before moving into academia, he was a marketing/PR executive, and, before that, a professional journalist for national newspapers including the London Sunday Times, The Irish Times,and the science journal Nature.

He served as adjunct faculty on the University of Arizona’s pioneering on-line degree course in consciousness studies, and as a member of advisory committee for the University Arizona’s Center for Consciousness Studies; on the program committee for the University of Arizona’s “Spirituality & Healing” conference; on the program committee for Dublin University’s conference on “Cognitive Science.”
